The Springfield College Negative Collection contains over 1400 negatives of the Springfield College campus, student life, and important events or activities from 1940 through 1962. Three main time frames are represented: 1941-1942, 1947, and 1960-1962. There are many images of athletes and various athletic events, dances, lectures and special campus events, students, faculty and administrators, and the campus and campus buildings. There are also photographs of the campus during World War II, when it trained Air Corps Cadets.
