The Needham Historical House Collection is part of the Needham Free Public Library Archives Town Collection, which consists of Town-of-Needham created items. The images are buildings in Needham taken by the Town of Needham Board of Assessors circa 1950-1955. These items were given to the Needham Free Public Library Archives as primarily negatives, with some photographs. They are mostly black and white images, with a few color images, as the Town transitioned to color film during this time. The images presented are residences, town buildings, offices, and store fronts.
