Hingham was one of the earliest towns settled in Massachusetts and has a rich and varied history. The Hingham Public Library's postcard collection contains over 100 images of Hingham scenes from the 1800s to the mid 1900s. They range from pastoral scenes and views of Hingham Harbor and Hingham Square to popular landmarks, churches, and stately historic homes. Backsides of the postcards are also included and can provide additional information.
