Early South Hadley is a collection of original documents from 1743 to 1842, roughly spanning the Town of South Hadley's first century. It includes legal documents such as land deeds and indenture contracts, muster records of South Hadley's Minuteman regiments, and records of business transactions from farms and tradesmen. The original copies are held in the collections of the Gaylord Memorial Library and South Hadley Public Library.
