The D.M. Rowland Collection

This collection is housed in the archive at the Coast Guard Heritage Museum in Barnstable, MA. It is comprised of B&W photographs from an album maintained by Petty Officer D. M. Rowland during his Coast Guard career in the 1920s and 1930s. He apparently took most of the photos himself while stationed on board or working with various Coast Guard Cutters in the vicinity of Norfolk, Virginia and while on International Ice Patrol off Newfoundland.
