<mods:abstract>Artist Merill Comeau's chair combines vintage tablecloths to make a slipcover for this Victorian style chair, which would often have been covered during this period. There are yellow roses and nasturtiums decorating this slipcover, reflecting the many yellow and white roses and nasturtiums that the many people attending Lucy Stone’s funeral brought in honor of this suffragist. White and yellow were also two of the colors often associated with the Suffrage movement.</mods:abstract>
