Letter accompanying sketch of Laura Bridgman exhibit
Description:
York 14 Aug 1883 / Dear Sir / By this post I send a sketch of an arrangement we made to our Exhibit to do honor to Laura Bridgman. Her bust was surrounded with roses-- in front the collar she worked with the wood cut of her in the act of teaching her fellow sufferer, O. Caswell, and then lying on the table in front was a frame containing photos of Dr. Howe and the Rev. W. Taylor, who in life knew and valued each other. H. R. H., The Prince of Wales, noticed the Laura group. / Please tell her all this. / A. Buckle
