Close-up of Laura Bridgman's green fillet bands for covering her eyes. Two bands showing the front and back view. The bands are lined with white cloth on the inside. There are three bands in the Bridgman collection at Perkins. Bridgman wore bands covering her eyes in photographs prior to 1870 at which time she shifts to glasses.
