Caroline Weston wants to know "the ultimatum about the New Bedford business." She expresses happiness "with dear dear brother [John A.] Collins at the helm." She admits: "I think indeed that I like C.[ollins] better than I did P.[hillips]." "Haven't I done well to pay off in a year, & lose as much as I did too--?--"
