Script: Written in a southern gothic textualis in black ink with red rubrics.
Layout: Single column, 18 lines. Bounding and writing lines in red, bounding lines full-length.
Decoration: Three-line initial on recto in blue on gold with florate infill; single-line versal initials in gold on blue or red with white filigree infill; three-quarter border of scrolling acanthus, berries and flowers with gold dotted background on verso; on the recto, half-page miniature of King David at prayer, with a background scene of David at the head of an army, within a full architectural border of pillars and lintel, with a small scene of David battling Goliath in the lower margin.
