Layout: 2 columns, 52 lines. Bounding and writing lines in light plummet.
Script: Written in an early gothic bookhand in black ink with red rubrics (ten lines measure 23 mm)
Decoration: Chapter numbers in epigraphic capitals alternating red and blue letters. Full-length "I" in outer margin of fol. 3v in seven compartments for the Seven Days of Creation, in colors; prologues and capitulae begin with 6-line puzzle initials in red and blue with red and blue filigree; 4-line initial on fol. 1r, a monk reading, in colors with bar down outer margin; books begin with 3- to 6-line initials in colors with grotesques, animals within; fol. 171v, 7-line initial historiated with David holding a harp, in colors, for Psalm 1; initials throughout alternating red with blue filigree or blue with red, with filigree into margin; initial on fol. 190v incomplete.
Binding: 17th-century calf over pasteboard, rebacked with original leather laid-on. Edges red, spine in compartments, gilt black leather label reads "BIBLIA LATINA/ MS SAEC XIII"
