Holograph, signed.
Anne W. Weston replies to Deborah Weston's letter, and advises her to take over a school in New Bedford. "If you have 20 scholars the profit of the school will about equal what we had from [John F.] Emerson." She conveys the opinions of various members of the family. Aunt Mary [Weston] wants "a place" herself, in order to double her allowance and Anne Weston also wants a place. She wonders about the care and teaching of "little Henry [Chapman]." She is glad that Emma [Weston] gives satisfaction.
