Climate Data
Item Information
- Title:
- Climate Data
- Description:
-
The climate is changing. Since the nineteenth century, the globe and region have experienced changes that influence critical natural and cultural processes. All planning needs to accommodate future changes. Rising levels of carbon dioxide (top) are helping to drive a global increase in temperature (middle) while also increasing the growth and efficiency of water use by plants. Bottom: Although many regions are projected to dry, the fifty-plus year history of increasing moisture and decreasing drought in coastal Massachusetts is expected to continue.
