Additional information from accompanying material: Seven survivors were found on June 22, 1884. Survivors were; Lt. Greely, Sgt. Brainard, Sgt. Fredericks, Sgt. Long, Sgt. Ellison, Hospital Steward Beiderback and Pvt. Cornell. Unfortunately Sgt. Ellison died enroute back to this country. Beiderback not in photo.
