- Symptoms of restiveness
- Title (alt.):
-
Symptoms of restiveness - in connection with a rented horse
- Description:
-
The restiveness referred to appears to be nothing more than a tendency to rest in one spot ; a sailor, probably at Portsmouth, from the view of the sea and shipping, is mounted on a steed which he is vainly belabouring with a cudgel, while an old hag is banging away at the poor brute with a long and heavy broom, to the delight of a convivial party, assembled to drink outside a public-house, within view of the dilemma.
