<mods:abstract>Image of the interior of the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company at 335 Main St. This image shows household products and food items arranged in long rows on top of and behind a long wooden counter that dominates the photograph. Also visible is an early example of a grocer's cold case. A smaller case stands on top of the counter. Among the products on display are such familiar brands as Wheaties, Kellogg's All-Bran and Corn Flakes, Quaker Oats, and Heinz Ketchup. Twelve store clerks in white coats and ties stand behind the counter, while another stands in front of the counter at the very end of the building. The ceiling is made of decorative pressed tin.</mods:abstract>
