Site of a post-war housing project on Robert Ford Road off Lexington Street in 1949. Stripped of loam November 1948. September 2, 1949. 168 brick units were built near the more expensive private apartments of Fairfield Gardens on the Iodice farm. Robert Mark Ford joined the Army on September 8, 1943 and was killed in action June 2, 1944.
