He asks Lydia Maria Child if she knows where his English copy of Mother's Book (by Lydia Maria Child) is, as he greatly wants it. He regrets not having been able to see Lucretia Mott. He asks when David Lee Child is coming from the North.
Also with the same Call No. Ms.A.9.2 v.11, p.4, is a list of female abolitionists in Ireland, by an unknown person and undated. Written on the verso is the notation: "Irish Letters, names of persons to write to in Ireland."
