Image of exterior of Bardwell Drugstore. Bardwell's Drug Store, owned and operated by Charles E. Bardwell, was found at 1-3 Main St. in the Flatiron building. The bay window is framed out with engaged columns that are decorated with ornate art nouveau designs. Boxes of Vinol, a patent medicine that was designed to "make the weak strong," are stacked in decorative pyramids in the windows and Vinol signs hang above the windows and the main entrance. There are also advertisements for Bardwell's root beer, as well as for other goods.
