Rolling on the Cycling Track, The Royal Normal College for the Blind, England
Description:
A photograph of the lower playground at Royal Normal College for the Blind in Upper Norwood, England. A group of young male students pull a cart with a large wheel along the cycle track on the playground. Another group of students is playing on a Giant Stride (playground equipment that looks like a Maypole) in the background. Other individuals can also be seen in the background, lounging on the grass, strolling, and pushing a wheelbarrow. The college grounds were laid out with separate playgrounds and asphalt walkways for the different ages and genders, a cycle track and a small body of water for boating, flower beds, and gardens for the children. A notable feature of the grounds is the large number of beautiful shade trees and flowering shrubs.
