At Home. John Cambra, now 66, has lived in Kalaupapa, a leprosy settlement on the Hawaiian island of Molokai, "Friendly Island," for 46 years. Although his leprosy is arrested and he's free to leave, he prefers to stay. "This is my home," he says. Now retired, he keeps busy repairing lawnmowers and tires, and taking care of a garden, five cats and three dogs.
