Layout: 1 column, 21 lines. Bounding and writing lines ruled in blind.
Script: Written in a gothic bookhand in brown ink with red rubrics.
Decoration: 10-line "puzzle" initials in blue and red with red, blue and green filigree infill and full filigree border in red and green on fol. 11, 39, 55, 72, 85 and 103.
Binding: Modern alum-tawed goatskin over pasteboard, sewn on 3 double raised cords. Surviving original gilt edges.
