Additional information accompanying item: Considerable added work. The seated figures are now completed and two figures appear at left edge of plate. Pavement drawn in. There is now a crowd of people behind the seated woman. The entire background, including church and campanile redrawn and placed further to the right of plate. The sky burnished down. Trial proofs only. There was no published edition.

Trial proof (2). St. Giorgio is moved a little towards the right. The figures are completed, and many more are added. Paving stones are marked. Except from the proof of some lines in the sky, it is difficult to believe that this is the same plate as trial (1).
