Built in 1869 to house the Boston Peace Jubilee in Copley Square (June 15-19, 1869). Severely damaged in a storm referred to as the Great Gale of September 8, 1869, it was eventually demolished. Parts of the buidling may have been used in the construction of a new coliseum for the later music jubilee in 1872.
