Summary provided by the Society for American Baseball Research, 2010-2011.
From 1946 to 1948, the Braves experimented with an all-satin home uniform, which was worn only for night games at Braves Field and was supposed to reflect under the stadium lights. However, Braves players hated them because they held perspiration and they were only worn a few times. In this image, Sain and Spahn are wearing the all-satin uniform, but Barrett is not (Society for American Baseball Research, 2010-2011).
