From accompanying materials: On slope of Walnut Hill on Newton Street. Built about 1760 by Joshua Woodward. Torn down 1910 by B.F. Goodnough. On the back of the Goodnough place on west side of Walnut Hill was an Indian Village near to a spring known as "The Indian Spring."
