Description:
Aaron Macy Powell informs William Lloyd Garrison that he has met with Beriah Green to discuss arrangements for an upcoming convention to take place in Canastota. Powell states that during the course of the interview, Green made mention of his desire to read the "Liberator". Powell suggests that, owing to Green's poor economic circumstances, they gift him a subscription to the newspaper, arguing that this would be a profitable exchange. Powell asserts his disappointment to learn that Garrison's health will prevent him from speaking throughout the Winter, and notes his anxiety concerning the condition of Francis Jackson.
