Letter from James Miller M'Kim, Phila[delphia, Pa.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Oct[ober] 5 / [18]50
Description:
James Miller M'Kim writes William Lloyd Garrison that they have learned to their regret that Helen Garrison, and possibly William Lloyd Garrison himself, will be unable to attend the meeting. M'Kim asserts that while Mrs. Garrison's absence would be a disappointment, Garrison's own absence would be a "misfortune". M'Kim states that he is publishing a caricature which he feels would do much good if published in the Liberator, and describes its content to Garrison.
