Letter from Jairus Lincoln, Hingham, [Mass.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Oct[ober] 26, 1841
Description:
Jairus Lincoln writes William Lloyd Garrison requesting that he publish in the Liberator an advertisement announcing that the quarterly meeting of the Plymouth Anti-Slavery Society meeting will take place on "Thursday Nov. 4th", and that attendees will include William Lloyd Garrison, John A. Collins, Frederick Douglass, and possibly Wendell Phillips. Lincoln states that they will do as best they may to offer hospitality to their friends, and puts his own house at Garrison's disposal should he not have prior accommodations in mind.
