Letter from Joseph W. Peckham, Easton, N.Y., to William Lloyd Garrison, [February] 20th, 1876
Description:
Joseph W. Peckham addresses William Lloyd Garrison, stating that they had "met and mingled" at state conventions for the New York Anti-Slavery society in Albany and Union Village, and recounts those in the anti-slavery movement whom he was fortunate enough to meet in his labors. Peckham asserts his wish to present a "sketch of [Garrison's] life work" before their "Friends Library Association", and requests any aid that Garrison might be able to offer him.
