Cyrus Taylor was the son of John Taylor and his second wife Elizabeth Hews, the family moved from Stow, Mass. to Sudbury, Mass. In 1800. He married Mary W. Barker from Sudbury. Their children were Lewis C. Taylor, John Taylor, George Taylor, Susan M. Taylor, Mary C. Taylor, and Andrew H. Taylor.
