Ebenezer "Eben" Lafayette Whittier was the son of Ebenezer Whittier and Nancy Daniels Gage. He was from Methuen, Mass. He marrried Rebecca Ann Anderson of West Boxfors, Mass., daughter of Robert Burns Anderson and his first wife Irene Cluff.
