Notes:
Reverend Robert Cassie Waterston was the son of Robert Waterston and his wife Hepsibah Lord. His sister was Marion Ruthven Waterston. Married Anna Cabot Lowell Quincy, the daughter of Josiah Quincy III and his wife Eliza Susan Morton. Robert was a clergyman who published numerous works from hymns and sermons to lectures. Anna Waterston was a poet and author. The couple were friends with the sculptor Edmonia Lewis, having helped her raised funds to buy marble in Rome. Lewis sculpted a bust of Anna, as well as memorial bust of their daughter Helen.
