Notes:
Charles Howard Lord was the son of George Lord and Olive Jefferds. He married Lucy Hayes, daughter of Joseph Mooney Hayes and Susannah Wildes of Saco, Maine. Was in the shipping business with his brother George Clements Lord and formed the firm Geo. C. Lord & Co., where they were commission merchants with an office at 73 Long Wharf.
