From catalogue raisonné: Two colors, the black printed from a wood block, the olive printed from a copper plate. Edition of 70 on thin Japan vellum and 20 on thick vellum. Finding it difficult to obtain boxwood blocks, the artist decided to experiment with the printing of a tint from copper.
