An article on page 2, columm 2, reports on two accounts of USS Constitution's capture of HMS Cyane and HMS Levant. Below the article, an editorial note reads: "Old Ironsides / No nation ever possessed a vessel which had more and deserved popularity than the frigate which bears the above title; and the solicitude for her safety is general, affectionate and profound."
