Additional information accompanying item: Signed "18 Zorn 89" in the lower left corner. Executed after an oil painting, pencil drawing in Zorn's sketch book. This etching was found unsigned in the private collection of Andres Zorn after his death and has been signed by Mrs. Zorn as follows - on the frontside - "Anders Zorn g. Emma Zorn." On the backside - "That this etching has belonged to the collection left by Anders Zorn is certified, Emma Zorn." In Swedish.

Fifth state. The shading of the under side of the left hand further strengthened by a number of diagonal lines. On the lower left corner there have been added seven diagonal lines, crossing the lines previously existing there.
On the plate, 18 Zorn 89. The plate is the property of the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris.
