This Perkins team participated in the First Outdoor Contest of the National Athletic Association of Schools for the Blind, held on May 16, 1908. The events included shot-put, standing broad jump, standing high jump, three standing jumps, running broad jump, fifty-yard dash, football throw, fifty-yard three legged race and fifty-yard sack race.
