The Armory at the corner of Hook and Central streets Southbridge Massachusetts
Description:
The Armory in Southbridge at the corner of Central and Hook streets is on view. The building is constructed of brick. A grand keystone arch with two towers and crenellations are the dominant features of the structure. Steps lead from Central Street through the arch. A flag of the United States flies from the side of the building. Some pedestrians are on the left, one pushing a bicycle. One of the houses in the Twinehurst development by American Optical Company is on the right, near the Central Street bridge. There are electricity poles and wires in evidence.
