The rainy weather reduced the attendance so that there were "not one quarter as many as usual" at the Progressive Friends' meeting in Longwood, Pa. Garrison went to the meeting with Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Johnson, Mrs. Sarah J. Savin, and others. Garrison says about meeting: "W.H. Channing also spoke frequently, earnestly and ably, and was warmly appreciated." Garrison gives his travel plans.
