William Lloyd Garrison and his family wish they could share the burden of Mrs. Sarah Allibone Speakman M'Kim's anxiety over the illness of her husband. William Lloyd Garrison is ready to go to Orange Park if he can help in any way. He would like to know James Miller M'Kim's "thoughts and feelings concerning that inevitable change, which in process of time comes to all; and yet I would not, on any account, tax your time or strength to write me ever a brief letter on the subject." The letter ends with the thought that he, William Lloyd Garrison, will join J. Miller M'Kim in the hereafter before long.
