William Lloyd Garrison promises to attend a "conventional meeting" in Hubbardston on August 3rd. He wants Samuel May, Jr., to join him. Two speakers are enough at meetings. Garrison is willing to go to Lowell but insists that Wendell Phillips goes with him.
