M. A. Bright asked Mrs. Sarah M. Plummer to circulate copies of the Liberator that were sent by the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society. Sarah M. Plummer has been unexpectedly successful in getting the Liberator into the hands of those ignorant of it and unacquainted with it. Friends of the cause will prefer to support their own paper rather than the Liberator. She wants a pamphlet giving the reasons which "induced the students of Lane Sem[inary] to dissolve their connection with that institution." The anti-slavery societies of Maine are increasing in number and interest. Sarah M. Plummer hopes to meet William Lloyd Garrison.
