Park House Hotel on Main Street Hopkinton ca 1895. On left with awning is S.A. Knowles Dry Goods Store, followed by archway to hotel's livery stable in left center and 3-story clapboard Highland House Hotel with businesses below in center. One business may have been a pharmacy. Bank building is to the right. Note flat roof surrounded by railing, pedestrians and bicyclist pass by. The Park House replaced the Highland House Hotel that burned in 1883. All of these building were destroyed by fire in 1900.
