<mods:note type='biographical/historical'>Images of houses and properties held for sale by Denby Real Estate or other Nantucket real estate agencies, circa 1982-2000. H. Flint Ranney (b. March 26, 1935 - d. December 27, 2012) worked for Denby Real Estate first as a broker and appraiser and later took over the company in 1984. Offices for Denby Real Estate were located on North Water Street. Flint retired in 2007 and turned the business over to his two sons. Flint also served on many island non-profit and public service committees including two terms as President of the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Rotary Club and Nantucket Historical Association.</mods:note>
