<mods:abstract>... and thank you for the volume before I had read it. Today brought the opportunity I deserved; - and I now hasten to write to you that you may know how much I enjoyed every word of this your most intensely interesting report. I assure you, I read with especial interest and pleasure the charmingly written account of Edith Willie and dear little Tommy. These unfortune little children have a very tender place in my heart, and I am sure their stories so touchingly told in your report will attract widespread attention. Helen wishes me to remember her very affectionately to Tommy and she sends you a great deal of love. With my very best wishes I am, Very cordially yours, Annie M. Sullivan</mods:abstract>
