Letter from Capt. A. Keller to Michael Anagnos, March 28, 1892 (p. 2 of 2)
Description:
... always be our purpose to consult and advise with you in all that concerns her welfare. When Miss Annie left with her in November, we agree that she might remain only a few months away from us this time, and took it for granted that she so advised you. My wife’s life, in the absences of Helen and Miss Annie, is quite a lonely one, as I am absent from home a great deal, and I am sure you appreciate her anxiety, and her heart yearnings for her child. With no one else in the world would she consult that she should remain half so long, and which we desire her return before hot weather begins, we expect Miss Annie to be governed by your wishes as to the time of their return. My wife joins me in very high regard for you and with best wishes I am very sincerely and truly your friend, A.H. Keller
