Letter from Michael Anagnos to Capt. Keller, Sept. 18, 1890
Description:
September 18th 90 My dear Capt. Keller, If you and Mrs. Keller decide to commit Helen to our charge during the present school year, I assure you that she will be most heartily welcomed both by the trustees of this institution and myself, and that we will take the best care of her and endeavor to make her stay with us and that of her teacher as pleasant as possible. So far as I am personally concerned, I need scarcely say, that the place which the precious child occupies in my heart if as warm as ever and that my delight in having her near me will be equal in its intensity to the sense of grief which you and your family will experience in parting with her for any length of time. Believe me, my dear Capt. Keller, with cordial greetings both to you and Mrs. Keller, with much love to Helen and her little sister, Sincerely your friend, M. Anagnos. Capt. A.H. Keller.
