Letter from Capt. A. Keller to Michael Anagnos, February 23, 1890 (p. 2 of 2)
Description:
... you may get back before she leaves Boston. If we learn that it is probable that you will return by latter part of May or 1st of June my wife and I will probable go to Boston to meet you. Helen always writes about you as though she loves you as dearly as she does me, and she would be much disappointed if you do not get home before she leaves the Institution. I trust that you found that your visit to your native land, and the relief from your arduous and exacting labors, has completely restored your health. Sheffield grows apace, and we are just now quite jubilant over a sale and shipment of 5000 tons of pig iron by River to Pittsburg and at a saving of about 12000$ in freight as compared with the rate by rail. My wife joins me in kindest wishes for your health, happiness and early return. Very truly & sincerely your friend, A. H. Keller
