Letter from Michael Anagnos to Annie Sullivan, April 9, 1889
Description:
April 9th My dear Annie, Your letter of the 26th ultimo, informing me of the condition of your eyes and ___ Boston next June in ___ of your decision to come ___ search of rest and medical treatment, was duly received. I am exceedingly sorry that you are obliged to leave Helen even for a few months, but it cannot be helped. The arrangement of having Eva Ramsdell as Helen's companion during your absence is a most excellent one, and I hope that she will prove so useful as to be permanently employed as companion for the children. I will write at once to Capt. Keller, telling him that his offer to Eva is accepted, and that she will be ready to start for Tuscumbia in early June. Sincerely your friend, M. Anagnos. Miss Anna M. Sullivan Tuscumbia, Alabama.
